What happened
Houthi forces raided Mohamed Hasan Dammaj’s home in al-Rawdha, Sanaa, on 6 April 2015 and arrested him, his son al-Hassan and two other relatives without a warrant. The three relatives were released on 10 April, while Dammaj was moved elsewhere.
He later told his family he was held in an arms depot on Nogm Mountain during airstrikes in the area. Amnesty International’s subsequent report recorded his release in August 2015.
