What happened

Houthi forces raided Mohamed Abdelwahab al-Ansi’s home and arrested him on 7 April 2015. He was held at the Criminal Investigation Department in Sanaa.

A relative told Amnesty International that he was not an Islah member and had been targeted because his father was the party’s secretary-general. Amnesty documented his case among arbitrary detentions of political opponents and their relatives.
